He lists three million expenditures alone, partly stretched until 2022, for the area of the Verbandsgemeinde. At 1.7 million euros, the development of the Bolander new development area “In der Halle” is the front runner; half of this amount is planned for 2021. With 1.6 million euros – of which one million in 2021 – follows closely behind the connection of the Orbis community to the Mittleres Pfrimmal wastewater association. In 2021, the investment levy is to be paid to this association in the same amount. In addition, the plan refers to a large number of line and connection renewals in various local communities and in the district town. All of this is to be financed through the profit carried forward from the last few years, but also new loans of almost 1.5 million euros.
Nonetheless, those responsible – with one exception – do not want to turn the fee screw for current contributions. The minimum charges of 2.68 euros per cubic meter of wastewater and 0.55 euros per square meter for the recurring contribution to rainwater should remain. Only in the case of the recurring contribution of dirty water, where the calculation would actually have allowed a reduction by one cent, will the previous 13 cents per square meter be retained. This is justified with the high investments, generally increased costs and the maintenance of a “certain fee stability”.
The situation is different for the one-off contributions set out in a further resolution that private house builders will have to pay in the future when they buy land from the city or local communities: On January 1, they increase by 0.51 cents to 8 for the removal of dirty water .97 euros and for rainwater by 90 cents to 15.90 euros per square meter.
