Waste trafficking, house arrest revoked in Palmieri

There are no longer any serious indications of guilt: for this reason the investigating judge of Salerno court revoked the house arrest ordered against the entrepreneur Federico Palmieri, 27 years oldone of the 16 people involved in the investigation last February Yes and the Carabinieri of Noah of Power on an alleged illicit trafficking of waste between Italia e Tunisia. Eleven precautionary measures were notified to as many suspects.

The instance

The judge accepted the request made by Palmieri – who becomes a member of Sra srla company involved in the investigation, since November 2020 – underlining among other things that the last container of the offending waste trafficking arrived in Tunisia in July 2020. And until that date Palmieri does not enter into the investigation in any way, “as there is no moral and material contribution from him to the perfection of the transfer, reception, transport and export of the material contained in the containers“. But according to the investigating judge, the precautionary measure must also be revoked in relation to the subsequent period, when Federico Palmieri acquires a formal role within the SRA: the investigations conducted through the analysis of the suspect’s mobile phones and PC, in fact, do not highlight serious evidence against him.
