El Diamante de la Segovia kicked off the celebration of the second edition of ES ARTE, a platform born thanks to the efforts of local authorities and governmental institutions with an interest in designing and promoting entrepreneurship, art and the talent of stylist designers.
From the square of the Domingo Gadea park, the city of Estelí enjoys two days of art, design, fair and gastronomy with the second edition of this important departmental platform that has come to promote the development of local commerce through entrepreneurial culture and the promotion of talent in all its expressions.
Camila Ortega, director general of Nicaragua Diseña “We are happy to be here for the second consecutive time in which we accompany this great effort made by the city of Estelí, a creative city of our National Network of Creative Cities”.
In addition, he added that it is a pride to see how the platform has evolved, to see how it flourishes throughout the country, which allows us to appreciate all the talent that exists in the city of Estelí.
For his part, the mayor of Estelí, comrade Francisco Valenzuela, declared that “This is the revolution we have dreamed of. We feel extremely satisfied with the organization of this event promoted by Nicaragua Diseña. and Nicaragua Diseña for this complementary support that
reaches the wards.
“We are very appropriate of our platform, this is the second edition and we are enjoying all the waste of art, muralism, culture and design,” highlighted the teacher Melania Peralta, deputy mayor of Estelí and coordinator of ES ARTE.
On this first day of ES ARTE, seven designers projected their creations on the first block of catwalks, including Elizabeth López, Juana Guillén, Kenia Mendoza and the designers of the Nicaraguan platform Diseña Brisa Hernández, Gloria Penso and Kennet Pérez. Wonderful samples of art and muralism, creative proposals of local companies ranging from jewelry, accessories, gastronomy, ornamental decorations and fabrics, are some of the products that Estense families will be able to enjoy at ES Arte, Naturaleza, Arte y Moda.
The event is open to the public from ten in the morning, offering visitors a path of murals, gastronomic proposals and initiatives that show Estelí’s creative potential.
