The Tropical playground and Sports Center Desi Samson, on the corner of Zapatata and Anwar Sada Street in the Tamenga resort, are currently being mowed and cleaned by the subdirectorate Waste Management of the Public Green and Waste Management Directorate (OGA).

Initiator, also deputy director Jason Gummels of Waste Management, took this decision because the playground and sports field had been in an overgrown situation for some time. The local residents also appealed to the deputy director to tackle this problem. Under no circumstances could the children use the playground and sports field.

During the mowing work a lot of litter such as beer cans and PET bottles was found. Vice President Jason Gummels has indicated that the playground and sports field will now be permanently maintained, so that children in the area can relax in their own way.

Local resident Clark who manages the site will help with the cleaning. Society is being called upon to contribute so that the playground equipment can be put back into use. “The playground is not intended for alcohol consumption, so these offenders are warned to refrain from this behavior and to keep the playground tidy for children,” said deputy director Gummels.
