Waskita Karya Continues Dam Construction During the Pandemic, This is the Progress

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is currently working on several dams in Indonesia. PT Waskita Karya’s Director of Operation II Bambang Rianto said that project work will continue to comply with the Covid-19 health protocol.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has not stopped project work, but must comply with recommended health procedures.” explained Bambang.

In Central Java, WSKT is in the process of building the Jlantah Dam with a construction value of IDR570 billion, which is currently progressing 15.02% and is targeted for completion by the end of 2022.

Waskita is also carrying out the construction of the Bener Dam with a current progress of 26.54 percent and is targeted to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.

In West Java there is the Leuwikeris Dam which is also being worked on by Waskita, which until now has reached 35.86% progress and is planned to be completed by the end of 2021.

WSKT is also carrying out the construction of the Karian Dam located in Banten and is planned to be completed in the first quarter of next year. The progress of the project work has reached 70.85 percent.

Meanwhile on the island of Sumatra, WSKT is working on the Way Sekampung Dam project, which progress has reached 92.92%.

Then, WSKT is also working on the Margatiga Dam located in Lampung and currently the progress is reaching 40.24%. The project is planned for completion by the end of 2021.
