Waskita Karya Changes Management, Fadjroel Rachman No Longer As Commissioner

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A number of well-known names no longer serve as Commissioners of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, one of which is Fadjroel Rachman.

This was known after Waskita Karya reshuffled the board of directors and commissioners at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) Thursday (16/6/2022).

As is known, Fadjroel Rachman is a former spokesman for President Joko Widodo. Currently, Fadjroel serves as the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan.

Fadjroel Rachman’s position as Waskita Karya Commissioner replaced by former Deputy 4/Bid Economic Intelligence BIN I Gde Made Kartikajaya.

Through the AGM, Waskita Karya also received approval from the shareholders to replace the President Commissioner of Badrodin Haiti to Heru Winarko. Heru is a retired National Police officer who previously served as Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

Waskita Karya also replaced Bambang Setyo Wahyudi from the position of Independent Commissioner and replaced him with former Indonesian Attorney General Muhammad Salim.

The company codenamed WSKT also replaced Taufik Hendra Kusuma from the position of Director of Finance and Risk Management and replaced him with Wiwi Suprihatno.

This reshuffle of the company’s directors and commissioners is one of 10 meeting agendas proposed at the Waskita Karya AGMS for the 2021 financial year.

The ten agenda items include the submission of the annual report, the report on the supervisory duties of the Board of Commissioners and the ratification of the consolidated financial statements for the 2021 financial year.

“At the last agenda, approval was determined regarding changes to the composition of the Company’s management,” said Corporate Secretary, Novianto Ari Nugroho in a written statement, Thursday (16/6/2022).
