“Washington Wizards prioritize signing Kristaps and Kyle Kuzma for next season”

Wizards general manager Tommy Shepard has made no secret that signing Kristaps and Kyle Kuzma is a priority for the team.

Porzingis, who is unlikely to play the remaining games, has been more productive than ever this season. He posted career highs in points (23.2 per game) and field goal percentage (49.8%), just shy of a personal best in field goal percentage (38.5%) and the most assists (2.7 per game).

“I’ve always had the feeling, especially after injuries, that I play a bit like – maybe not angry, but a bit disappointed, not satisfied, like I know I’m capable of playing at a much higher level, but I haven’t found my rhythm. When coming back from injuries, the feelings are always a little different”, says Porzingis.

Kristaps himself compared this season to a car – the feeling is that it has finally been put into gear and the car is driving.

“Wizards” should hope that Kristaps will “drive” next season as well. Preferably in Washington and with Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma.
