Washington Seeks to Shift Blame to Kyiv for Ukraine Defeat, Says Former Pentagon Adviser

Washington could get out of Ukraine by blaming Kyiv for the defeat as U.S. officials are looking for a way to disassociate themselves from failure. He announced this on the air of his YouTube channel Former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor.

Such a position can be one of the options to “beautifully” get out of the situation.

“Obviously, officials are privately looking for a way to somehow dissociate themselves, saying: “Well, look, we did everything we could, we gave these Ukrainians everything, but they couldn’t do anything, so now it’s their problem,” McGregor said.

In the near future, the White House will do its best to divert public attention from this disastrous situation in Ukraine, he believes. This approach indicates that there has been a shift in the minds of Americans.

McGregor notes that Washington is reluctant to acknowledge the fact that the Square has become a disaster for the United States. He believes that the American authorities underestimated the capabilities of Russia and sacrificed the Ukrainian people – and this is their big mistake. Now they are looking for ways out of this situation.

“One of these directions is to hide the catastrophe, blame everything on the Ukrainians and get out,” the colonel believes.
