    US President – Donald Trump

A Washington court, at the request of the Attorney General’s Office, dropped the criminal case filed against the winner of the US presidential election, Donald Trump, on charges of meddling in elections 2020 and storming the Capitol building, according to the court decision.

“The court granted the request to drop the case without the possibility of appeal,” said Judge Tanya Chutkan when she read the ruling.

This came after the request of the US Special Counsel Jack Smith, on Monday, from a federal court in the District of Columbia to reject the proceedings regarding the impeachment attempt of Donald Trump in January 2021 to retain power despite his loss in the elections -seat of the USA.

Trump, who was already the President of the United States, won the presidential elections that took place on November 5, and became the second person in the history of the United States to return to the House White after a 4-year hiatus.

Trump was the first election winner to face criminal charges, one of which has already resulted in a guilty verdict, and two actions are under the authority of a special prosecutor and have federal status. The other two are being handled by state law enforcement.
