/Photo=Capture from ‘RSVP’ music video Suspicion was raised that the producer who was with singer Jessie when the fan assault incident occurred was a member of a Korean gang.
On JTBC’s ‘Incidence Chief’ broadcast on the 14th, a minor fan and his mother who were assaulted after asking Jessie to take a photo appeared and expressed their stance on Jessie’s apology. The victim’s mother said, “I saw the apology, but he only made excuses and said, ‘He was not part of the group. He suddenly appeared.’ This makes no sense,” and “Because my child said he was with them when he saw them.”
He then said, “As soon as I saw him (the assailant), I got up and tried to catch him, but I missed, and then I just watched while he hit me.” He added, “I was angry because he said, ‘I don’t know. He suddenly appeared and hit me.’ Would you take that kind of action if you weren’t someone you knew?” raised.
The victim also said, “It doesn’t seem like Jesse wrote it himself since he wrote ‘moral responsibility’ in the apology,” and “I didn’t feel it was sincere.” In addition, regarding the situation at the time, he said, “When a producer who was in Jessie’s group asked for a photo, he stopped her, punched her in the stomach, and thrust her head in.”
In his apology, Jesse mentioned that the male perpetrator was “a person nearby who I first saw that day.” The agency explained that the male perpetrator was a Chinese friend of the producer and was not close to Jessie.
However, additional suspicions were raised that the producer who was present at the scene was a member of a Korean gang in Los Angeles, USA. The producer mentioned in ‘Case Leader’ is Koala, who also doubles as a rapper, and the victim claimed that his behavior at the time was “gang-like.”
The victim said, “I heard the word ‘gang’ when my friends were around,” and “I looked it up because my gait and body movements were not normal, and it looked like a Korean gang.”
Another informant claimed that the koala had a tattoo of ‘K’ on its right arm and ‘OS’ on its left arm, indicating that it was a member of the ‘Korean Outlaws’, one of the Korean gangs in Los Angeles. ‘KOS’ is an abbreviation for ‘Korean Outlaws’.

Koala is known to have participated in Jessie’s hit songs ‘Nun Nu Nanna’ and ‘Cold Blood’. Jessie also participated as a feature in Koala’s song ‘RSVP’.
According to the police, in the early morning of the 29th of last month, a fan who was a minor approached Jessie in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul and asked to take a photo, but was assaulted by a man named A who was around Jessie. Jesse tried to stop the assault, but later left the scene. Afterwards, the police dispatched to the victim’s report found Jesse and his group nearby and asked about Mr. A’s whereabouts, but they reportedly responded that they did not know. The police are trying to determine the identity of Mr. A.
In addition, in addition to the man known to have assaulted the victim, it was confirmed that a total of four people around him, including Jesse, the producer, and another party member, were accused of assault and other charges by the victim.
On the 11th, the police summoned Koala and others as defendants for questioning, and plan to summon and interrogate those at the scene, including Jesse, one by one.
