It was all “too much”. Too good. I don’t realize there and then. But I must say that this year has never gone so well. There were many truly unforgettable moments because something unexpected happens every Sunday, which turns the tables. I had fun with Jovanotti, with Renato Zero… with everyone! Then Renzo, in the evening, was intense.
Arbore did not go anywhere for two years because of the pandemic, because he was afraid – Mara confessed – But for me he overcame this obstacle: it was an act of love. And I appreciated and reciprocated. Everyone said the next morning that it looked like I was still “in love” with him. I love Renzo very much, and yes, it is love. But there are many types of love.

The Venier he then went on to talk about the idea of stopping and one possible participation in Sanremo:
I have nothing against resting after a lifetime of work. And it’s not like I’ll be able to stay on TV until I’m 80. I no longer say that the next will be the last season, we’ll see. I will go on as long as the public likes my way of conducting. But don’t ask Mara Venier to lead Sanremo: I was crazy. I’m not from Sanremo: I like to sit and chat. There, with all eyes on me, I would be incredibly anxious.
