In November, it was announced that HBO Max will be releasing a “Harry Potter” special, 20 years after the first film was made.
The special has been named “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts”, and will be broadcast on New Year’s Day. There will reportedly be more revelations that fans have never been told about before.
One of the revelations is the protagonist Daniel Radcliffe’s great infatuation with one of the film series’ older stars.
Sent declaration of love
According to the Huffington Post tells the 32-year-old that he had a weak point for the 23-year-old Helena Bonham Carter, who played the Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange in the films.
In the special broadcast, Radcliffe shares a message he sent to his colleague, after they completed the last film in the series in 2011.
– Dear HBC. It was a pleasure to be your colleague and your assistant in the form that I always ended up holding your coffee, Radcliffe reads aloud for the first time in front of the rest of the cast, before continuing:
– I love you, and wish I had been born ten years earlier, so I might have had a chance.
Remember the moment
Admittedly, Radcliffe is not the only one who shares declarations of love during reunion. Emma Watson, who plays Hermine Grang, opens up about her love affair with Tom Felton (playing Draco Malfang), something she has also told about before.
She says she remembers the exact moment she began to feel butterflies in her stomach.
