Activision has released a major update “Season 1” for the latest installment of the CoD series, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III”. A patch note containing the changes has been published.
In this article, we will introduce changes to the completely redesigned Perks and contracts in the free-to-play Battle Royale “Warzone.”

PERK
General adjustment
overkill
This perk has been removed globally and replaced with a new default behavior. Players will always have the option to equip two main weapons, even without this perk.
Developer Comment: “By removing Overkill, we removed a long-standing inconvenience that required players to purchase their own Overkill loadout or purchase multiple weapons at a purchase station. With Overkill always being the default, you can put any perk or weapon you want into any loadout you create, giving you freedom of choice.”
UNLOCK PERKS
All Perks in Warzone are unlocked through player progression. Perks used in custom perk packages are default unlocks at level 1, which must be unlocked through player XP progression paths from levels 1 to 55. Lock Perk Below Scavenger Battle Harden Payout Flex (Faculty)
Individual perk adjustments
ghost
Can be obtained as a stealth plate carrier, an item that has been updated to block detection by UAVs, enemy radar sources, and heart rate sensors, and now requires movement to activate.
bird eye
Your Killstreak UAV, Portable Radar, or UAV Tower will display the enemy’s direction to your squad, as well as the direction of unsilenced enemy fire. Discover players with the “Ghost” perk. Can be obtained as a com plate carrier
survivor
Revival speed improved. Decreased health recovery delay. Reduced cache lost upon death.Can be obtained as a Medic Plate Carrier item that reduces the time to recover your health when you are automatically pinned down by an enemy that knocks you down from 7 seconds to 4 seconds.

Remove markings from “Combat Scout”

Reduces frangible bullets and their effects

The ability to increase the speed of “crouch” and “prone”, which increases the duration of tactical dashes and reduces refresh time, will be removed.

Plate carrier perks
The plate carrier, previously said to be the “best”, can be found throughout the match.Now associated with one of the following four perks:

Developer comment: “Previously, some plate carriers shared functionality with their corresponding perks, but not all. We have reconsidered this relationship and now ensure that plate carriers share functionality with a single perk. I’ll make sure I have it. Nothing else will come with it.”

When you start this contract, a bounty will be placed on the player from the highest performing squad in the match. If you defeat the targeted player, your squad will instantly launch an Advanced UAV as a reward. This new contract, which lasts for 20 seconds, appears after Circle 2
scavenger
When you start this contract, you will be directed to open three special scavenger safes. At the same time, you will be told the location of the first safe. These caches contain additional items and increase the chance of getting killstreaks and plate carriers.One randomly selected plate carrier will always appear in the last vault, 100% guaranteed.
General adjustment

Updated contract spawns
Increased amount of contracts that appear in the second half of the match
New icon(Gameplay Quality Improvements) Updated contract icons to make them more readable and look like a shield. The icons are now yellow instead of green for better accessibility.

A bounty will place a UAV pin around the bounty once when the hunter’s team kills it.
Developer comment: “Players who fight in bounty contracts are always at risk of being attacked by a third team. So we are adding reward for risk and boosting squads.”
inter contract
The speed of securing points will increase as more squad members are present.
runner contract
If you survive this contract, a high value supply crate will appear.Camp entry kit always included
Developer comment: “Once again, risk should come with reward. Whether I am the target of a runner contract or I chase the target, I want all teams to be rewarded with supply crates that drop on success.” This is our goal. The Guaranteed Camp Entry Kit drop is consistent with our contracting philosophy, which is ‘a clear reward that you know you’re going to get.’
