DD12 Lab became the majority shareholder of the club.
The club announced the changes on Thursday. The company DD12 Lab, headed by Paulina Sypniewska, bought a block of shares from Bartłomiej Farjaszewski. Farjaszewski took over Warta Poznań four years ago. – The “Greens” were freshly promoted to the Fortuna 1 League, but they were in danger of withdrawing from the tournament. The new owner took the club straight. The team remained in the league in the first season, and in the next – returned to Ekstraklasa after a 25-year break. Now he has started his third consecutive year in the highest league in the country – passes the club.
Even before the current season, Farjaszewski appealed to people who would like to take part in the development of Warta Poznań. Sypniewska responded to the appeal. – This is a resident of Poznań, doctor of economic sciences at the University of Economics in Poznań, whose CV includes the completion of programs for top management, among others at Harvard Business School. Paulina Sypniewska will join the Supervisory Board of the Club, which will also include Bartłomiej Farjaszewski – he adds.
– I am very glad that the project we have been working on in recent years has developed to the point that a group of investors liked it and they decided to buy a majority stake. Thank you, Ms Paulina Sypniewska, for inviting me to cooperate. I accept this invitation and will continue to be active in the Supervisory Board of Warta Poznań – says Bartłomiej Farjaszewski. Farjaszewski assures that he will continue to be involved in the development of the club, but in a different role.
