Only slight scratches on the German cruise ship

This maneuver backfired powerfully. A warship from Venezuela is said to have intentionally rammed a German cruise ship. Apparently the cruiser named “RCGS Resolute” only wore minor scratches. The Venezuelan boat, however, sank.

“Resolute” built exceptionally stable

The German cruiser was in international waters near the island of “La Tortuga” when it was suddenly attacked, the reported “picture”. After a short conversation, the Venezuelan warship opened fire to drive the ship away. Finally, the Venezuelan patrol boat Naiguata rammed the “RCGS Resolute”.

The German cruise ship, however, is said to have suffered only minor damage. The opposing boat, however, sank. The “Resolute” is said to have been designed for ice rides and is therefore exceptionally stable. However, the Venezuelans did not seem to know that.

The Venezuelan captain and his crew are said to have turned down the help of the German crew after the crash. Nevertheless, all crew members of the damaged ship could have been saved. Venezuela’s dictator Nicolas Maduro said that the sinking of the “Naiguata” was a “terrorist act and piracy”.
