Warsaw: Plans for a “Las Vegas” property – The involvement of King Charles – 2024-02-19 17:23:13

As the state of King Charles’ health concerns the British, a report from the Daily Express brings to light the plans of international interests to create the Las Vegas of the Mediterranean. Varosia is located to the south of the walled city of Famagusta which has been abandoned for 50 years after the Turkish invasion.

In the seaside once resort is the impressive Golden Sands Hotel, the only complex in the area that has not been looted in the five decades that have passed. The hotel has been sealed since 1974 and its interior remains the same as it was then, which is why it is nicknamed the “virtually untouched hotel”.

Once it was opened it only operated for 3 months and yet managed to host several celebrities of the time it had bookings for five years before it was forced to close due to the Turkish invasion. The decor remains the same as its equipment.

How do you involve the royal family and the obstacles that exist

The pseudo-state states that 58% of the hotel is owned by King Charles, while the remaining 42% is in the hands of Lord Charles Forte, who died in 2007.

The royal family has denied that Charles owns it while, according to the British newspaper, a question has been asked in the House of Lords about whether Golden Sands is being used by UK security forces as a hotspot for Syrian refugees.

The British newspapers that raised the issue note that the possible involvement of King Charles will be an obstacle to its utilization, while underlining that these plans will find obstacles both from the UN and the Cypriot government.

Plans to revitalize Warsaw are in place and the Daily Express writes of a proposal by a consortium of billionaire businessmen from around the world who are touting the area as the ideal location for a multi-billion pound investment.
