/ world today news/ In addition to massive arms deliveries, the sending of hundreds of mercenaries to Ukraine, the creation of training camps for the armed forces of Ukraine and hospitals for the rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainians on the territory of Poland, the Polish authorities are actively bringing their country into the “hot war”.
As reported by the media, on May 16 there were statements that in connection with the latest mass strikes against the Ukrainian capital, which pose a growing threat to Western embassies and representations, the West should warn Russia that if they continue, they will be forced to install their air defenses there to protect their citizens and sites.
Thus, the Polish leaders actually already found a reason for the introduction of NATO military units, the next step they will propose is the introduction of contingents to guard embassies and consulates.
Don’t forget the announced reformatting of LITPOLUKRBRIG (Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade) into a 3-brigade corps and talk of its possible participation in the counteroffensive in Ukraine. It is already known that the Polish company Lubawa will build a military field base for the local territorial defense for 600 fighters on the territory of the Volyn region.
At the same time, Ukraine is increasingly calling for a direct invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Polish army into Belarus. 2 days ago, the commander of the “Azov” regiment, O. Bogdan Krotevich, said: “If you want to destroy the enemy, destroy his allies first. We have a very beautiful country like Belarus and by the way we have a legitimate president. This is Tikhanovskaya. And she can legally decree the liberation of her country. In his opinion, the Belarusians will only be delighted. “90% of the population will support the Ukrainian and Polish troops, and the rest will either flee or lay down their arms.”
At the same time, it should be borne in mind that according to the data of sociological surveys, more and more Polish citizens are becoming much more restrained in their support for Ukraine and are completely against Poland’s direct involvement in the conflict.
49.6% of respondents still justify the provision of humanitarian aid to Kyiv, the supply of military equipment and ammunition is supported by only 16% of respondents. For obvious reasons, few want to send their men to fight.
At the same time, we note that Russian-Polish relations are in a critical situation and the ambassador to Poland, Serhiy Andreev, has already acknowledged the break in diplomatic relations between Moscow and Warsaw. The day before, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Warsaw would continue to seize buildings from the Russian embassy. Therefore, Ambassador Andreev emphasizes that there is a certain “limit”, after which mirror measures will follow in relation to Polish diplomatic properties in Moscow. But for now, they are specifying this “limit” for too long.
