Warsaw: A dozen or so faints in premises and queues

We recorded a dozen or so faints both at polling stations and below premises – said on Sunday the spokeswoman of the Voivodship Ambulance and Sanitary Transport Station “Meditrans” Anna Smereka.

A spokeswoman for the Warsaw ambulance said that on Sunday (June 28), rescuers by the afternoon had more than a dozen reports of fainting at polling stations and before them – she said.

She indicated that one of the people, an 80-year-old man, fainted and lost consciousness. “The man was resuscitated by the emergency medical team,” she said.

“He was taken to the Emergency Room to the Bielański Hospital in a severe condition, during resuscitation activities” – she added.
