Last week, Microsoft began rolling out Windows 11 to compatible PCs, but it did not take long before the first reports of problems appeared.
One of the problems was the AMD processor and poorer performance, around 10-15 percent, after installing Windows 11 on the PC. AMD was quick on the spot and stated that a bug fix is on the way.

Poorer performance
Yesterday, Microsoft released the first update to Windows 11, as part of the monthly “Patch Tuesday”, but if you have an AMD PC, you should wait to install it.
The website TechPowerUp writes that the processor performance of AMD computers deteriorates significantly after installing the complete update.
AMD confirms issues and plans to release two updates next week. The first is expected on October 19 and will be available via Windows Update, while the second can be downloaded in a driver update from AMD on October 21.

More problems
AMD trouble is not the only thing Windows 11 users experience after upgrading to the new operating system.
Many people experience a memory leak in Windows Explorer, which causes the program to continue to use memory in the background even if you close it.
Another problem is that some people are not allowed to use search in the new start menu. Many people have the habit of opening the start menu and starting to type to search for things on the PC, but get a surprise when it turns out that search suddenly does not work.
At the same time, users experience that the start menu does not open at all, even after restarting the PC.
