According to the statement made by WhatsApp, as of November, users with devices with iOS 9, Android 4.0.3 or lower will not be able to benefit from the update of the messaging platform.
The app also advised smartphone owners to save their chat history before the next month’s update takes place.
There are currently 2 billion WhatsApp users worldwide. When the update ends on November 1, 53 Android models and one Phone model will lose access to the app.
App will not be available on iPhone 4S.
