Warning strikes: Friedrichshafen Airport expects additional flights
The warning strike at seven German airports on Friday also has consequences for Lake Constance Airport. A few flights to Frankfurt will be cancelled, but unscheduled alternative landings are expected.

Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen is also affected by the warning strikes by the Verdi union at seven German airports – Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Bremen, Dortmund, Hamburg and Hanover – on Friday, both negatively and positively. The Bodensee-Airport is not on strike, the flights planned for Friday will be processed normally. However, Lufthansa has canceled the four planned flights to Frankfurt Airport, which was on strike. Affected passengers should contact Lufthansa or their travel agency and not come to Friedrichshafen Airport.
In addition, Bodensee-Airport expects additional traffic from alternative landings from Stuttgart, since hardly any flights are processed at the airport there due to the strike. “We have activated additional staff for Friday so that we can also offer the usual fast and smooth service here in Friedrichshafen for the passengers of these unplanned flights,” says Bernd Behrend, media spokesman for Lake Constance Airport.
With the warning strikes, Verdi wants to increase the pressure before the upcoming wage negotiations.
