Warning strike at Dental-Kosmetik Dresden ended – news from Leipzig

As planned, IG BCE ended the warning strike at the end of the late shift on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021. This has once again made it clear that the strike participants fully support the demands of IG BCE for pay increases. Now the ball is back with the management to finally approach IG BCE to prevent further escalation.

In contrast to the previous brief warning strikes, this action was planned for a week from the start. This should make it unmistakably clear that IG BCE is not prepared to accept an endless delay.

“It should now be clear that sitting out short warning strikes leads to longer and longer warning strikes – but not to the surrender of IG BCE,” says Gerald Voigt fiercely. The IG BCE district manager calls on the dental management to use the coming long weekend to finally submit a negotiable offer and to start the talks. “If the management does not act, the risk of another warning strike increases even further,” announces Voigt.

“Even if the management keeps talking about providing transparent information at all times, this is exactly what is missing in reality,” criticizes the district head. “The works council and IG BCE have been put off with blanket statements for a long time – especially with regard to the major customer Lidl.”

IG BCE thanks representatives of the SPD and the Left for their presence and the expression of solidarity on site.
