The East Road Traffic Center warns of slippery sections on the E6 towards Oslo, both south and north of the capital.

– Today there are many smooth sections. It snowed last night, and it’s a very cold road, says traffic operator Nils Jakob Aae to NTB.

Where there is little traffic, the salt does not bite as well on the smooth surface.

– Most of the snow has come along the E6 from the north, so you have to be extra careful there. At the same time, all side roads are smooth, says Aae.

– Keep a good distance and slow down, is his advice.

Closed in both directions

E134 and the Oslofjordtunnel in the direction of Drammen were temporarily closed due to a truck train stopping. The wagon train moved on at 7 o’clock and the tunnel will now be open in both directions, writes Vegtrafikksentralen on X (Twitter).

At 6 o’clock on Thursday morning, a lorry train came to a complete halt on the E6 in Moss in the direction of Oslo. After a short time, the wagon train moved on and the road could be opened again.
