Warning for severe wind gusts in northern coastal area | Inland

The warning applies from 3 p.m. for North Holland, the IJsselmeer region, the Wadden Sea, Friesland and Groningen. In the Wadden area the wind gusts can reach a speed of 80 to 85 kilometers per hour and later in the evening in the eastern Wadden area even 90 to 95 kilometers per hour.

The wind, which comes from the west, can hinder traffic and outdoor activities, according to the KNMI. It can be very windy, especially during showers. In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the heavy wind gusts from the west disappear again.
