“Yes, that’s probably the case (shifting traffic jams),” said the Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman to detikcomTuesday (21/3/2023).
Latif Usman predicts congestion on morning and evening toccurs earlier in the first week of fasting. Then the traffic jam will return to ‘normal’ as before.
“Usually it’s busy at 6 pm. Maybe later at 4 pm (it’s already starting to get jammed), because we’re after breaking the fast at home. But in the early days it’s possible, later it will come back again,” explained Latif.
So is rush hour in the morning. In the month of Ramadan there is a tendency for workers to leave after Dawn.
“Yes, in the morning too. If in the morning there is a postponement of the usual working hours, we will see what the regulations of each agency are,” he said.
