Warner Bros. Postpones Film Releases Due to Hollywood Strike: Impact on Promotions and Profits

Warner Bros. originally expected to release the film in theaters in North America on November 3. However, due to the situation in Hollywood, which has been crippled by the strike for several months, she postponed the deadline.

Because of union rules, even star actors would not be able to participate in the promotion of the film, which would surely bring with it a decrease in possible profits. The company hopes that the new term will also appeal to viewers of the cult work. They are heading into the usual spring, Easter holidays in the United States and Canada.

Postponement of premieres of big films, as he pointed out web Variety, Warner Bros. was considering also with other possible (cinema) hits of this year. And that’s for the musical The Color Purple, which is set to hit theaters in the US on December 25, and the action fantasy Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which will be released in the US on December 20. So far, however, it looks like the pre-announced premiere dates for these titles are valid.

On the contrary, the postponement of premieres that were supposed to take place this year affected other expected titles. Just by chance, Kraven the Hunter or the comedy Rivals have moved to 2024.
