The rains won’t stop in our country, but it will get warmer. Warm air will move from the south over Bulgaria. This was stated by climatologist Prof. Georgi Rachev to bTV.
On Wednesday and Thursday, however, a new cooling with precipitation is expected. Then it will be the highlight of the lowest temperatures. After that, they will begin to approach the typical for the month of May. Despite everything, the month of May will go cold. An increase in temperatures is expected on Saturday and Sunday.
“Central Bulgaria will fall into the main flow of warm air from the Mediterranean. From Friday, the weather will become more stable, it will not stop raining, but the rains will be less,” he added.
However, he noted that although we are constantly talking about rain, in mid-May we are far from and half of the monthly norm.
From Friday to Sunday, Burgas will have warm and nice weather, but the temperature of the sea water is 14-16 degrees.
“There are already floods in Croatia, in the north of Italy the drought has disappeared, Germany’s dams are full. The region of Barsa remains, where the drought situation remains more tragic,” explained Prof. Rachev.
