Since the start of the war, when men were called to the front lines and forced to stay in the country by martial law, millions of women have fled Ukraine for their lives and the lives of their children. A year later, many are still living in refugee centers or foster families and are fighting this war as all women have done in other conflicts throughout history: in silence.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev reacted today to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposal to change Russia’s name to Muscovy, and advised to change Ukraine’s name to “Pig Reich” by followers of Ukrainian nationalist and Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera .
“The supreme Nazi in Kiev commissioned to study the issue of changing the name of Russia to Muscovy. Well, what to say… Our answer? Of course not Jojliándia (pejorative nickname for Ukrainians). And much less Malorrossiya. Only Schweinisch Bandera- Reich (Reich of pig followers of Bandera,” he wrote on Telegram.
Bandera, considered by Kiev as a national hero, led a nationalist movement during World War II that was behind the murder of some 100,000 civilians of non-Ukrainian ethnicity in Volhynia and collaborated with the occupation forces of Nazi Germany, for which he is hated so much in Poland as in Russia.
