On February 27, in Kyiv, Kharkov, Lvov, Zhytomyr and Ivano-Frankivsk, mass fights of teenagers who consider themselves to be Russian subculture “PMC Redan” were suppressed, informs “Ukrainian Truth”.
In particular, 245 people, mostly minors, were detained in Kharkov. Head of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region Volodymyr Tymoshko declaredthat mass fights were supposed to be the result of a flash mob organized by Russia. “War is not only on the battlefield. The enemy wants to destroy our country and uses our children along with you for their bloodthirsty purposes,” he said.
Earlier it was reported about the mass detentions in the cities of Russia of teenagers associated with the youth subculture “PMC Redan”. Its participants claim that they are not involved in private military campaigns, and the abbreviation “PMC” is used as a joke. The subculture is inspired by the Japanese manga Hunter x Hunter about the Genea Redan crime group.
The State Duma stated that they intended to study the situation around the detentions of Russian teenagers from PMC Redan. “It is necessary to find out if representatives of unfriendly countries are behind the new “fashionable structure”, whose only goal is to destabilize the situation through our youth,” — declared Head of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption Vasily Piskarev.
