In all, more than 18 billion dollars have been paid by Washington to the Ukrainian government.
The United States will provide additional aid of 4.5 billion dollars (4.4 billion euros) to the Ukrainian government, announced Monday the United States Agency for International Development.
The new funding will bring the total amount of aid given to the Kyiv government by Washington since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24 to $8.5 billion. These funds will allow the Ukrainian government to finance its essential functions, and provide social and economic assistance to its population in need.
The Pentagon also announced that military aid in the amount of one billion dollars would also be paid to Kyiv. The United States has paid more than $18 billion to Ukraine this year.
