Jason Birchard, knowing he’s about to say the worst sentence, he raises his hands, defensively, and says, “You really mustn’t take that the wrong way.” There is such a cheerful atmosphere here, every table is occupied, people sit in front of plates and bowls with borscht and beef stroganoff and pierogi and dumplings and cabbage and everything that warms the heart, soul food.
