Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov addressed the citizens of Ukraine. He thanked everyone for their work and support, and also noted that the world’s faith in Ukraine’s victory is constantly growing.

“168 hours. For a whole week now, Ukraine has been repulsing the Russian invaders. No one. Realize this. No one. Neither in Russia nor in the West believed that we would hold out for a week. The only ones who believed were you and me. Two-thirds of Ukrainians under 24 February, we were sure that in the event of a full-scale invasion of Russia, we would survive. Today, there are almost 90% of them,” Reznikov wrote.
He stressed that not only the military and territorial defense forces, but also the heads of military-civilian administrations and mayors, as well as doctors, rescuers, public utilities, railway workers, journalists and financiers, are holding to the front.
“Yesterday I called on citizens to total resistance. We must destroy the enemy’s communications. These are the metastases that he is trying to smuggle across our land. The Russian invaders were afraid of a shameful defeat and began to commit crimes against humanity. They are shelling hospitals, killing women and children. This is no longer an army These are ordinary cowards and terrorists,” the Minister of Defense added.
