French President Emmanuel Macron said that the war in Ukraine will be long. He advised not to count on a quick end to the conflict.

“It will not stop in the coming days,” Macron said.
At the same time, he criticized the parliamentarians of the National Front party (Macron’s main opponent), who ignored the vote to impose sanctions against Russia.
“I noted the guilty absence of all National Front MPs in the European Parliament when it comes to sanctions against Russia, which shows you the ambiguity of some, despite the war,” Macron said.
