00.10. Russia must not escalate the war in Ukraine with false claims that Kiev intends to use the so-called “dirty bomb”, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned Monday.
He said he spoke to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and British Defense Minister Ben Wallace “about Russia’s false claims that Ukraine will use a dirty bomb on its territory.”
“NATO allies reject this claim. Russia must not use it as a pretext for escalation. We remain firm in our support for Ukraine,” Stoltenberg tweeted.
In recent days, the Kremlin has made false claims that Ukraine is developing a “dirty bomb”.
