British Home Secretary Priti Patel called on Interpol to suspend Russia’s access to the organization’s systems. As the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted, Moscow’s actions are a direct threat to people’s security.

“Along with partners from the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, I wrote a letter today urging Interpol and its executive committee to decide this week to immediately suspend Russia’s access to their systems,” she wrote.
Patel added that Russia’s actions are a direct threat to the safety of people and to international law enforcement cooperation.
