War in Ukraine – Britain urged to disconnect Russia from Interpol

British Home Secretary Priti Patel called on Interpol to suspend Russia’s access to the organization’s systems. As the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted, Moscow’s actions are a direct threat to people’s security.

“Along with partners from the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, I wrote a letter today urging Interpol and its executive committee to decide this week to immediately suspend Russia’s access to their systems,” she wrote.

Patel added that Russia’s actions are a direct threat to the safety of people and to international law enforcement cooperation.
