Lukashenko’s claim is an indication that Russia’s war with Ukraine increasingly heated and expanded by involving third countries.
According to Lukashenko, several Kiev missile attacks on Belarus took place three days ago and were only published by the state news agency, Beltayesterday.
Lukashenko said Belarus does not want war with Ukraine, but will go to war if its territory has been invaded.

Belarus is known as a close ally of Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin recently promised to send Iskander-M missiles, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, to Belarus.
The Ukrainian military did not immediately comment on the Belarusian claim.
“They provoked us. I have to tell you, three days ago, maybe a little longer, an attempt to attack military facilities on Belarusian territory was carried out from Ukrainian territory,” Lukashenko said. ReutersSunday (3/7/2022).
“But, thank God, the Pantsir anti-aircraft system managed to intercept all the missiles launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
Lukashenko said no troops from Belarus were fighting in what Moscow called a “special military operation” in Ukraine.
As a close ally, Belarus has allowed Russia to use Belarusian territory to send troops to Ukraine on February 24.
