/ world today news/ Zelenogorski gave a 15-day ultimatum to Radan Kanev, threatened to resign
On July 20, I am resigning as head of the national campaign staff. This was announced a few minutes ago by the co-chairman of the Reform Bloc – the deputy head of the DBG Nayden Zelenogorski, at the end of the meeting of the parliamentary group. And he has given his colleagues from the DSB an ultimatum – he will not fulfill his intention, which would blow up the RB on the eve of the elections, only if by July 15 Radan Kanev persuades the bloc to sign a coalition agreement and one for its unified registration throughout the country .
The DSB leader himself did not attend the heart-breaking meeting, during which individual MPs, annoyed by the lack of understanding on any issue regarding the elections in Sofia, warned that after October 25 they would demand the resignation of the two leaders of the parliamentary group. Such are Kanev and Zelenogorski.
The leader of the DSB did not go to the meeting of the DSB – Sofia, which on Saturday nominated Vili Lilkov as the candidate for mayor of the Republic of Belarus, and Traicho Traikov as the leader of the lists for the Sofia Municipal Council. Voices were heard at the forum that it is not written anywhere that the party must comply with the DBG of Meglena Kuneva.
Two days later, Solomon Passi, who was nominated by her as a candidate for mayor, wrote on Twitter that he was withdrawing from the race, since he was not a candidate of the entire bloc. However, people in the know told “24 Chasa” that he has not completely ruled out the possibility of running for office when the tension in RB subsides and in the event that he succeeds in uniting everyone.
6 to 1 is the lead of Passi over Vili Lilkov on the question “Who should be mayor of Sofia” in the sociological survey commissioned by the Reform Bloc in the capital, the results, which were summarized literally less than an hour ago, informed “24 hours”. Between 5 and 10 times more recognizable was the former foreign minister than the DSB candidate, who is highly respected, but among the members and sympathizers of the bloc. Compared to other hypothetical nominations, the lead of Passi, who is also expected to win fringe votes, jumps to 20 times.
Regardless of the results, the DSB did not concede to a candidate other than Lilkov.
The capital leaders of the parties in the Republic of Belarus are already negotiating on the nomination for mayor and on the positions of the lists. The DBG wants the bloc to face Solomon Passi before Yordanka Fandakova, and the leader of the SOS list to be Proshko Proshkov. SDS, BZNS and Korman Ismailov’s party had no claims.
