The Jerv team drives directly home to Grimstad after the sensational performance against Brann on Wednesday night.

A weeping board chairman Per Gunnar Topland in Jerv met the press after the wild qualifier against Brann on Wednesday night. It thus ended with promotion to the Elite Series for the Grimstad team.

When asked what Topland would say to all the supporters who had to watch the match on TV as the coronary restrictions limited the number of spectators to 600, he replied the following:

– I hope they enjoyed watching the match on TV, and that they saw a little more than us in the stands. It was not always so much we saw because of the fog.

After the match, the team would get on the bus and drive straight home to Grimstad, Topland could also confirm. No one is allowed to enter the clubhouse when the players arrive, but the chairman of the board answered unconditionally “yes” that supporters were welcome to pay tribute to the players outside the clubhouse at Levermyr.

The bus will probably arrive in Grimstad at 2-3 o’clock on Thursday night.
