PT Jhonlin Agro Raya Tbk is one of a number of companies lining up to conduct an IPO in the near future. There are several interesting facts about this company, one of which is that the main commissioner is still 21 years old.
The prospective issuer with the stock code JARR will issue 1,222,950,000 shares. The stock price range offered is in the range of RP 250-300 per share.
The company is engaged in the plantation and processing of palm oil in South Kalimantan. Prior to the IPO, the shareholder structure was 99.91% held by PT Eshan Agro Sentosa, the remaining 0.09% was owned by PT Sinar Bintang Mulia.

Eshan Agro Sentosa itself is a subholding of PT Jhonlin Group which is a company owned by Haji Samsudin Andi Arsyad or popularly known as Haji Isam.
Another interesting fact is that the chair of the President Commissioner at Jhonlin Agro Raya is Jhony Saputra. He is the son of Haji Isam.
“There is no familial relationship between the members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners and Shareholders, except that Jhony Saputra as the President Commissioner is the son of the controlling and beneficial owner of the company, namely Haji Samsudin Andi Arsyad and the nephew of Haji Sudirman as the shareholder of EAS and the commissioner of EAS, Haji Sudirman is the younger brother of Haji Samsudin Andi Arsyad,” said Jhonlin Agro Raya’s prospectus quoted Tuesday (12/7/2022).
Interestingly, Jhony is known to be only 21 years old. His last education was SMA Al Azhar, Central Jakarta, which he graduated in 2018.
Jhony has only served as President Commissioner of Jhonlin Agro Raya this year. He is also a shareholder in a number of companies, including PT Surya Mega Adiperkasa, PT Modal Harapan Bangsa, PT Citra Agro Raya and PT Araya Agro Lestari.
