On Saturday, Elfsborg faced Kalmar, a match that ended 2-2 after KFF picked up a two-goal deficit.
At the end of the match, it got really annoying after Elfsborg’s Noah Söderberg tackled Kalmar’s Sebastian Ring. Several players rushed to the situation which was grumpy – but which eventually calmed down.
One who only had to stand and watch was Henrik Ryström, coach of Kalmar, who earlier in the match was warned for talk. After the match against Elfsborg, Rydström was joking about it all.
– Because I had a warning, I did not dare to go inside. I stood there and wanted to wrestle with Johan Larsson but did not get the opportunity. I had to take him in the corridor afterwards instead, Rydström said with a grin at the press conference according to Borås Tidning.
KFF’s coach then looked at Elfsborg’s coach Jimmy Thelin.
– You were in and calmed it down, weren’t you?
– I tried anyway, Thelin replied.
Kalmar has started this year’s Allsvenskan with two wins and three draws.
