“A little brother” or the story of an African family, seen from the inside
The film “a little brother” will indeed see its action take place in the late 80s. In the synopsis, a woman arrives from Africa and settles in the Paris suburbs with her two sons. From this installation until today, the film will retrace the construction and deconstruction of an ordinary family.
For the director,
“It was about getting into the intimate parts of the characters by writing this scenario. The film is like divided into three parts, with one for each character. It is therefore the story of a family integration and its disintegration because, they are all at the same time very close and very separated by the events. ”
