Notice to cinema fans: a large casting is launched in the Rouen region for the shooting of a film scheduled for the end of next April. You just need to be between 17 and 90 years old, with a profile reminiscent of 1989 to appear on the future plans of Léonor Séraille’s film “a little brother”.

It therefore launches a large casting to recruit many extras. They must be between 17 and 90 years old and available for a period scheduled between April 26 and May 14, 2021 in Rouen.

The “80s 90s” look required

In principle, there will be one to three days of shooting for each extra according to the following criteria:

– men and women aged 17 to 90 of all origins,

– men and women aged 25 to 40 of all origins.

For this group of extras, it is about recreating a Parisian nightclub in 1989. People who love to dance, stylish people and stylized cuts are welcome.

The film crew wants to recreate real life and therefore integrate people of all backgrounds, all origins and builds, with varied styles and personalities into their plans.

Be careful, even the haircuts should reflect the times. The extras will therefore be asked to allow their hair to grow if necessary.

“A little brother” or the story of an African family, seen from the inside

The film “a little brother” will indeed see its action take place in the late 80s. In the synopsis, a woman arrives from Africa and settles in the Paris suburbs with her two sons. From this installation until today, the film will retrace the construction and deconstruction of an ordinary family.

For the director,

“It was about getting into the intimate parts of the characters by writing this scenario. The film is like divided into three parts, with one for each character. It is therefore the story of a family integration and its disintegration because, they are all at the same time very close and very separated by the events. ”
