A wanted drug dealer is arrested at Frankfurt Airport. Either he has to pay 4,500 euros – or go to prison for five months.
Frankfurt – He was on his way from Berlin to Tokyo and landed at Frankfurt Airport when the federal police arrested him: a wanted drug dealer was arrested on Tuesday (May 9).
In October 2021, the Berlin Regional Court had already sentenced the 39-year-old man to a fine of 150 daily rates of 30 euros for drug trafficking. To avoid punishment, he went into hiding. Therefore, since the beginning of the year, the public prosecutor’s office in Berlin has issued an arrest warrant for him via the local state criminal police office.
