SLOVAKIA – When you are the target of a wanted notice, it is best to avoid going on stage in front of thousands of people. But that is what Samantha, a 24-year-old Slovak, experienced when she shared a segment of the singer Macklemore’s concert on August 17 in Bratislava.
She quickly bragged about the memorable moment by posting the footage on social media, but that didn’t help her case.
A (very) attentive citizen
“The woman immortalized this experience and boasted about it on a social network, which did not escape the attention of an observant citizen, who at the same time follows the site with the list of people wanted by the Ministry of the Interior, can we read in the Slovak police statement on Facebook. He recognized the woman and realized that he had just seen her on the aforementioned site and immediately informed the police.
The police in charge of security at the festival took charge of arresting the young woman before her incarceration. The authorities have not specified the exact nature of the facts alleged against the young woman.
As noted The Parisianthe Slovak media Plus 7 Days claims for her part that she was accused of not having paid a fine received in 2019 after running topless on the pitch of a Europa League football match. Amounting to approximately 800 euros for disturbing the peace, the fine was added to a ban on attending similar events.
