It has been almost a year since the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the entire world. Indonesia as one of the countries affected by Covid-19 also has not shown any change. Therefore, complying with the recommended health protocols will be very effective in reducing the number of Covid-19 spread in Indonesia.
Previously the Minister of Health, Terawan Agus Putranto issued a Minister of Health Decree number HK.01.07 / MENKES / 382/2020 concerning Health Protocols for the Community in Public Places and Facilities which was ratified on 19 June 2020.
Minister of Health Terawan said public places and facilities are areas where people carry out social activities and carry out activities to fulfill their daily needs. The risk of movement of people and the gathering of people in public places and facilities, has a large enough potential for Covid-19 transmission.
“People must make changes to their lifestyle with new structures and adaptations to their habits so they can live productively and avoid Covid-19 transmission,” said Terawan, as adapted from the official website of the Ministry of Health, Monday (19/10/2020)
The following is the health protocol for the community in public places and facilities such as malls that the public must pay attention to.
1. Limiting the number of incoming visitors and limiting the number of merchants operating. Set storefront spacing and set the opening and closing hours of the mall.
2. Carry out body examinations at all entrances to shopping centers or malls. If a worker or visitor is found above a temperature of 37.3 degrees Celsius, visitors are not allowed to enter.
If visitors are not wearing masks, they are not allowed to enter either. The temperature check officer uses a mask and face shield (faces shield) and during temperature checks, the officer is accompanied by a security officer.
3. Adjusting the distance when queuing by marking the floor at least one meter such as at the entrance, cashier, elevator, escalator, and limiting the number of people who enter the elevator by making a marker on the elevator floor. Setting a minimum distance of one meter on stairs and escalators
4. Regulate the mode of transportation to prevent crowds and optimize open space and prevent crowds from occurring. Managers are also asked to provide information about the prohibition of entry for workers and visitors who experience symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or have a history of contact with people affected by Covid-19.
5. Regular cleaning and disinfection must be carried out at the mall or shopping center, at least three times a day. Cleaning is prioritized for areas that are shared such as door handles and stairs, elevator buttons, toilet doors and other public facilities.
6. Special rooms, health posts for the first handlers are still functioned more actively so that workers, traders, or visitors who experience health problems in shopping centers, malls or shops can be handled directly.
7. Socialization of all workers and visitors about the prevention of Covid-19 transmission must be intensified. This can be done by installing banners, posters, banners, via Whatsapp or sms blasts, through loudspeakers, etc.
