People who switch platform from iOS to Android tend to face an annoying problem that they cannot transfer their WhatsApp chat history from their iPhone to new Android devices. It might mean the loss of important messages or valuable pictures and videos received on the messaging platform. WhatsApp is now working on allowing the migration of chats from iOS to Android.

Chat migration is now only available for beta testers, which means it takes a while for the bit to kick in for the larger user pool. According to an earlier tweet from WhatsApp chief Will Cathcart, the feature could only be rolled out for Samsung devices.
To check whether you have received the feature or not, go to the WhatsApp app on the iPhone and open the settings. If you see the option “Move to Android” then the feature is available to you.
The iOS to Android chat migration feature first appeared in July this year. At the time, instructional videos showed that a cable connection between the two devices was needed to transfer the chat history.
WhatsApp recently launched the “Paymennts Background” feature which allows users to add thematic backgrounds to digital transactions made on the messaging platform.
WhatsApp said the basic idea of the payments background feature is to create a more personalized experience for the sender and recipient by adding an element of expression to money transactions.
Designed for WhatsApp users in India, the payments background feature allows you to add backgrounds to complement money sent on birthdays, holidays or for gifts and travel.
