PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR), a joint venture between BP and AKR, opens up opportunities for cooperation to build public gas stations (SPBU). For those who are interested, you can prepare land and pocket around Rp. 500 million.
Head of Network Planning and Acquisition BP-AKR Benny Oktaviano said, there are two concepts that will be collaborated with partners.
“We built two concepts, there is a regular gas station concept as we are now seeing. There is a gas station concept which then uses the fuel container concept,” he said in a limited interview, Wednesday (23/6/2021).
In this collaboration, he said, for the regular concept, the partner must have a land area of approximately 1,500 m2 with a minimum front width of 30 meters. Then, for compact gas stations, a minimum of 1,000 m2 of land is required with a front width of 20 to 25 meters.
“Then for the compact side gas station, we call it a gas station that uses two containers, we will use two containers, we need a minimum land of about 1,000 m2 with a front width of about 20-25 meters,” he said.
Furthermore, in this collaboration, his party will provide support in the form of providing planning to partners. This plan includes a description of the economic aspects of the land to be used as a gas station.
Then, his party will also assist in terms of equipment, planning, licensing (permit), to assist partners in preparing staff.
“We will also bridging this partner with a number of local partners that we already have, to be able to collaborate with this partner,” he said.
“As a summary, the concept is that we prepare the plan, we help prepare the design, we help prepare the equipment, then we help with the permit. Of course there is still a portion that they do, mostly during preparation so that we can prepare for the construction of the gas station, ” he said.
He said the costs incurred by partners depended on the condition of land readiness. The more land is ready, the less funds will be spent.
“If the land is flat, it is at the level of the road, basically civil works are needed, of course the costs are not that significant. Our estimate should be under Rp 500 million,” he said.
He added that in this collaboration the partners do not need to buy fuel for their gas stations. Later, BP-AKR will distribute the fuel.
“And one more thing that we said as an added value is that the concept of this cooperation uses the concept of consignment from the fuel management perspective. So this partner does not need to buy products, but on a regular basis and by the system we have, we will supply fuel directly to gas stations. and then they will sell directly to the market. So they don’t need to buy products from us with the concept of consignment, “he explained.
