Jakarta: WhatsApp provides a user block feature so that we do not receive messages from these contacts. However, there are hidden ways that you can block users without getting caught.
You can do the user block feature in an easy way. Namely, select the contact in question, click the top right which shows the three-dot symbol. Then, select more or other and select block or block.
Some features of blocked users that can be seen, such as no two ticks sent but only one tick, can’t see last seen chat, and can’t see users who are online WhatsApp. It’s easy to do this, but the blocked person will know that he or she has been blocked.
There is another way to keep yourself from being distracted by the user’s messages without having to block the contact. WhatsApp provides an archived or user mute feature. This way new messages will be archived or permanently saved.

5. The selected contacts will be archived.
How to restore archived WhatsApp messages
1. Select the three dots symbol at the top right
2. Click the settings option or setting
3. Select a message or chat
4. Then the options appear Keep Chat Archived or leave messages archived
5. Click the green sign next to it Keep Chat Archived which will later turn gray. Archived messages will return to the regular message list.
