Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Chairman of the National Commission for Post-Immunization Association Events (KIPI) Prof Hindra Irawan Satari appeal to the public to remain calm, relaxed and think positively when they are about to be vaccinated Covid-19. Thus the immune system or immune system in the body can be optimal.
“So, vaccination should actually be in a calm, solemn state, so the immune system will be optimal in response to it. So please people don’t be tense and anxious before being vaccinated,” he said during a virtual press conference on Sunday (4/4/2021).
Admittedly, the tense atmosphere when he was about to be vaccinated against Covid-19 could have an impact after being vaccinated. For example, common effects after vaccination are fever, dizziness, headache, swelling, redness, nausea and muscle aches.
According to him, these symptoms can arise not only from the content of the vaccine immunization. But, it could also be due to bad thoughts.
“It could also be due to the atmosphere of the vaccine, being tense, anxious, worried that it could also cause post-immunization events that are not related to the content of the immunization, not related to the antigen, but because of the situation,” he explained.
According to him, a bad mood can have an effect after being vaccinated. For example, people read the scary effects when they were about to be vaccinated. Then, the atmosphere was waiting for a long time until his mind was not fresh.
“Before leaving, I read the WhatsApp group, before I went to sleep, I read the shocking news, came, queued, waited, for a long time someone shouted in front, for example, it also created a quite tense atmosphere and that affected too,” he explained.
He also explained why the vaccinations were done twice. He said, in the first vaccine, our bodies were getting acquainted with something that had entered from outside. So, when the second time the vaccine is injected, the body has already studied.
“Because we actually introduced them, so why was immunization done twice because the first process was introduction, we know, we remember, if we meet again, remember more,” he concluded.
