Sony made the price and release date of the PlayStation 5 known. The regular PlayStation 5 costs 499.99 euros and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition sells for 399.99 euros. Both consoles are from 19 november available in the Netherlands and Belgium, among others.

During the PlayStation 5 Showcaseevent, not a single word was said about pre-orders. Many will have thought like me that there would be no pre-order phase and that we would all have to wait for November 19th.
Event started at 10:00 PM Dutch time. Then I wrote something about the event and then I went to sleep. The next morning I was very surprised and angry. The PS5 I’ve been looking forward to for a long time was sold out! Several retailers started taking the first pre-orders the next morning at 8:30 AM. At Bol.com, for example, the game console was sold out within half an hour and at Media Markt even in 15 minutes!
I visit several webshops every day to check whether I can order a copy somewhere. The day before yesterday I thought I was lucky, because he was too close to Wehkamp to order. I could not believe my eyes. Called and chatted directly to check. According to the two employees, it was available and would be delivered in the third week of November. I immediately ordered and paid for two copies. Later in the day, I came across several messages on Twitter pre-ordering not continue. The next day I got one e-mail that my order was canceled.
Sony has via Twitter apologized for the chaotic pre-order process. In the coming days, the Japanese company would make more consoles available for pre-orders. Retailers should communicate it further with the customers. I wouldn’t be surprised if I wake up again and read that it’s sold out everywhere again. Of course, it’s not uncommon for new consoles to sell like hot cakes, but communication works wonders.
A PlayStation 5 on the release date will be very difficult, or rather impossible! This is also the answer to the title of this article. I visit the web shops below every morning to check if I can place a pre-order somewhere. Preferably a delivery that will take place this year. Sony if you are reading this, HELP ME !!!
