/ world today news/ Yesterday, the head of the Foreign Relations Office of the CCP Central Committee, Wang Yi, presented four proposals to strengthen cooperation between the countries of the Global South. He took part in the BRICS meeting on security issues in Johannesburg.
Wang Yi said that independence is the political foundation, development and revitalization are the historical mission, and honesty and justice are the common propositions of the Global South. He added that as responsible members of the global village, we must work together to take responsibility for world peace and common development.
“First, we must eliminate conflicts and build peace together. Second, to revive vitality and promote development together. Third, we must be open and inclusive and seek common progress. Fourth, we must unite and cooperate together,” Wang Yi told the conference participants.
